Naturally occurring game include Duiker, in great numbers, Bushbuck, Hippo. At night a number of guests have had close encounters with hippos which have arrived to graze on the lawns. There are occasional sightings of Leopard, Hyena, African Wild Cat, Civet, Porcupine, Waterbuck and various other animals wondering in from surrounding reserves.

At night one can hear trumpeting of Elephants and roaring of Lions from the neighboring reserves. For the bird watcher, there is an amazing number of bird species to be seen.
 

Special Features

If you just want to relax, park out under the giant Leadwood trees in the tranquil garden or cool off in the large swimming pool which has a thatched entertainment area on two sides.
