Description
Our home, which overlooks the Bay and is situated no more than 100m from the water’s edge, has been transformed into three luxury apartments, each with their own separate entrance and entertainment area, to ensure privacy.

BRYDE'S WHALE APARTMENT
Our luxury 4-sleeper apartment and features 2 luxury bedrooms (king size beds), each with their own en-suite bathroom (pentagonal shower, modern bath, vanity and toilet). This apartment has a large sea facing veranda, beautifully furnished, with an outdoor braai.

HUMPBACK WHALE APARTMENT
Our penthouse (loft) apartment, is ideally suited to a couple seeking more space and comfort and can also be rented by a family of 4 (regrettably only children 14 yrs and older). It also features 2 luxury bedrooms (king size bed and twin beds), with 1 en-suite bathroom (pentagonal shower, modern bath, vanity and toilet). This apartment has an indoor braai/fire place, a sea facing balcony with patio furniture and a Weber for outdoor braaing.

SOUTHERN RIGHT WHALE APARTMENT
Our smaller 2-sleeper apartment. This ground floor apartment has 1 luxury bedroom (queen size bed), with en-suite bathroom (pentagonal shower, vanity, toilet). This apartment has a small sea facing patio, with patio furniture and a Weber for outdoor braaing. It also has an indoor braai/fire place.

WINTER SPECIAL ON THE WEST COAST! (valid from 10 May to 31 July 2012)
We are offering a 15% discount on our advertised Low Season rates for weekend stays, with a minimum of 2 night stays required. For those wishing to take a midweek break, we are offering a 20% discount for the same period, with a minimum of 2 night stays required.

Regrettably, only children 12 years and older.

Jacobsbaai, situated on the Cape West Coast, has one of the most beautiful and self-fulfilling natural landscapes in South Africa. This quiet village also referred to as the “Namaqualand” of the West Coast, with it’s traditional lime washed houses, is set against a breathtaking coastline with rocky outcrops, sandy bays an a cobalt blue ocean.

Jacobsbaai which is located between Saldanha Bay and Paternoster, is ideally situated for excursions throughout the Cape region. The cosmopolitan city of Cape Town, Cape Town International Airport and the Cape Wine Lands are all approximately an hour and a half’s drive from Jacobsbaai.

How to get there


FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Travel along Borchers Quarry Road and continue south for ± 650m. Turn right into Settlers Way (N2) and continue in a North Westerly direction for ± 4.9km.

Turn right into Vanguard Drive (N7) and continue North for ± 25.23km. Turn left into the M19 towards Melkbosstrand and travel west for ± 4.64km. Turn right into the R27 and continue to travel north towards Velddrif for ± 87km. Turn left at the Saldanha Steel Turn-Off and continue for 5km. You will pass Saldanha Steel, the Oval Race Track and Vredenburg Airport before getting
to an intersection.

Proceed straight over the intersection and continue for ± 5km and you will pass Jevlek Estate Agents (White Building) on your left. Keep left and follow the tar road. Continue until you reach the Second STOP street and turn right into Frans du Bois Street and then immediately left into Japie Traut Street.

The WHISPERING WHALE will be on your left hand side. You will recognize it by the sign boards facing the street.
