HONEYMOON SUITE
Kwantu Private Game Reserve offers newlyweds a honeymoon to remember. Kwantu’s honeymooner’s lodge, with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom, open on to personal decks, ensuring complete peace and privacy during your honeymoon, overlooking the hippo dam.

TENTED CAMP
Ideal for the adventurous individual, who want to enjoy an African Night. Sit around the fire discussing life issues with friends listening to night sounds produced by birds and animals. You will find beds in our tents; we also have air conditioning systems. Our catering team will be on standby to make traditional African and Asian dishes for you. Braai facilities are also available.

If you are planning a youth meeting this is the place to be.

FRONTIER HOUSE
This century old house accommodates a family of up to 6. Rooms are equipped with queen size beds, telephone lines, heated floors and own wardrobes. The house has en-suite shower. Your family has that chance of scanning its favourite television channel in the spacious and comfortable lounge room.

As is our tradition at KWANTU PRIVATE GAME RESERVE a tea-coffee bar is placed within the confines of the Frontier House.

Kwantu's day centre is the perfect venue to relax and enjoy Africa’s splendor. Whilst taking a break on your day trip, lean out over the day centre deck and breathe in the clean, unspoilt African air. Warm sunshine fills your heart with relaxation as you listen to the sounds of the lions roaring and the elephant thunder in the nearby bushes. The day centre restaurant offers a delicious variety of dishes, from traditional African to exotic eastern, to compliment your experience.

Game drives at Kwantu are an experience bar none. Guests are treated to the big five, as well as over 250 bird species, abundant insect and plant-life, as well as exotic and endangered animals.

How to get there

From Cape Town
Take the N2 toward Port Elizabeth, enjoying the scenic Garden Route and all its splendour, en-route to Kwantu. A drive from Durban will see you travelling along the N2 as well, and should you be visiting us from Bloemfontein, enjoy the beautiful countryside whilst driving along the N10.

Visitors will take the N2 to Grahamstown from Nelson Mandela Bay, and continue for ± 80km turning left at the Sidbury turnoff and following the signs to Kwantu (± 15km later).
