BOTSEBOTSE LUXURY RETREAT is an exclusive luxury bush retreat in the Limpopo Province's Waterberg region, situated in the malaria free Zebula Game and Country Reserve.

Our stone, thatch and natural materials blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape characterized by rare African artifacts and luxurious African indoor and outdoor spaces. The four luxury temperature controlled double bedrooms (each with a private courtyard), lead off a vast thatched walkway and have large comfortable beds dressed with mosquito nets and superior linen.

Lavish en-suite bathrooms have freestanding egg shaped baths, oversized indoor showers and private outdoor shower and bush baths with ample luxury pamper items. Each room has its own covered parking and a locker for golf gear.

Enjoy delicious meals in a variety of venues and delight in a roaring fire in the main or bush boma, gaze at the amazing stars of a clear African sky, or while time away in the superb indoor lounge areas next to the fireplaces. We will also make sure that you do not miss your favourite sporting event, which can be viewed from our cozy bar.

How to get there


Take the N1 from Pretoria or Polokwane. Take the R516 turn off to Warmbaths / Bela Bela, turn left going towards Bela-Bela (Warmbaths).

At the T-junction, the waterfront will be in front of you, turn right. Go over the bridge, first robot left. Follow the road around a sharp right bend. At the next road turn left, go past the Aventura Resort on your left.

At the roundabout, turn left for the road to Thabazimbi. Drive ± 35 km passing the Mabalingwe Game Reserve on your right. Turn right at the tar road on your right that says Rooiberg, with a large Zebula Sign on the corner of the turn off.

Drive ± 4 km and turn right at the stop street at the large Zebula sign. ± 5 km down the newly tarred road the ZEBULA gate will be on your right hand side.
