Description
aViarks' primary attraction is its location. Situated on the north coast of KwaZulu-Natal province, we are within close proximity of every sought after facility of the leisure or business traveller, tourist or visitor making an unexpected stopover.

aViark is a an apartment style complex in a garden setting on La Mercy Ridge, overlooking the Umdhloti Lagoon and Mangrove Fringed Beach.The view from each of aViarks rooms is splendid.

aViark consists of 4 private self contained self-catering units and sleeps 2 adults each. One child under 12 may share with parents free of charge.

Each unit has an equipped kitchen. We do provide a basic cooking starting pack worth R100 complimentary for guests staying three days or more. Guests may also arrange for grocery packs to be provided on arrival for their account.

Aviark was designed as an airport facility. It should attract all manner of traveller throughout the year especially as our rates are so low and our facility is of a high standard.

We offer free shuttle service. Aviark is also close to all major amenities on the Durban North Coast. We are 25km from Durban International Convention Centre and Durban Centre. Umhlanga and Ballito are just up our road. We offer exceptional service.

Attractions

La Mercy has been up until recently a secluded beautiful and serene sea side village in the sunny north coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Rapid development in the north and south has brought world class facilities within very close proximity to us but without impacting negatively on our naturally beautiful surrounds or our peace and quiet.

aViark is the best of both worlds. Everything the traveller desires is just up our quiet road ... no hustle and bustle and no noisy heavy traffic although the new King Shaka International Airport is just 5km away. That's quite incredible! A large airport on our doorstep without the noise and other discomforts associated with airports.
 

Special Features

We provide shuttle services without additional cost between the Airport and lodge. We also arrange transport to and from the various facilities and places of interest at nominal charges.

How to get there


From King Shaka International Airport

Take N2 South towards Durban. Take Umdhlothi / Verulam turnoff. Take Left towards Umdhloti and left again into M4 North towards Tongaat. Take La Mercy turn off.

Stay left at circle. After 50m, turn right into Lagoon and Ebling. Pass seaview and take next left into Ebling Lane and left again into Ahmedys - 3rd Property on left is Viark. Welcome!
