PRAIA DO SOL is a family holiday resort that offers safe swimming along shallow shores of Uembje Lagoon and perfect conditions for any water sports. Established 10 years ago in the beautiful town of Bilene in Mozambique.

We cater for 36 guests housed in luxury Thai-style bungalows. The A-frame, single and double storey structures are built up into the hillside and have balconies overlooking the waters of the lake. All accommodation comes standard with mosquito nets, and en-suite showers and toilets. There is no shortage of things to do, like organised activities such as dune riding on quad bikes for a day or 2 hour canoe trips through two smaller lakes.

Cold beer comes standard at the PRAIA DO SOL along with cocktails, Portuguese and South African wines, spirits, refreshments and a great atmosphere. This is a high risk malaria area. There is plenty of borehole water. Bring a torch as power is often down.
