CHIKARA STUD is situated on the edge of The Cradle of Humankind: a mere 10 minute drive from Lanseria Airport, Broadacres and Northgate. We are surrounded by many conference centres and wedding venues. Although we are in the country we are close to major traffic routes and the N14 highway and within minutes of various shopping malls and entertainment centres including Silver Star Casino and Montecasino.

We offer self catering accommodation in two farm cottages. Both are two bedroom cottages with fully fenced private gardens and braai's.

STRAWBERRY COTTAGE is adjacent to a small stable yard and has half bouquet DStv. The bathroom has a bath with a hand held shower head.

POMEGRANATE COTTAGE is more private with hedges all around and with a little patio to braai on. It has TV but no DStv and only a bath no shower.

The cottages are fully fenced and secure, so you can arrange to have your pet accommodated as well. If you listen carefully late at night when all is still you will hear bullfrogs bellowing softly, jackal yipping away down the valley, and the distant roar of the lions. We have free ranging rabbits, geese, bantams and hedgehogs which frequently visit the garden in summer.
