DUCK HOUSE is a 3 bedroomed, double storey town house, offering self catering holiday accommodation for 6 people in the quiet village of Fish Hoek.

A secure, comfortable and fully equipped home with free satellite television and wireless internet connection. DUCK HOUSE has barbeque, better known as a "braai", facilities in a pretty garden all located in a quiet and safe area with secure off-street parking.

The main bedroom has a king bed and en-suite shower and toilet. The 2 single rooms each have 2 single beds and share a 2nd bathroom / toilet. There is a guest toilet downstairs. Open plan lounge and diningroom. Full DStv bouquet and WiFi internet. A 7th guest can be accommodated (on request).

An ideal location for a family holiday on the False Bay Coast.

R 150.00 to R 250.00
Rates quoted are per person per day depending on the season
DEPOSITS
Deposit of 50% will secure the booking – full balance payable on or before arrival. R500 breakage deposit required refundable within 7 days of departure. We regret that we have no credit card facilities - bank details will be supplied for EFT payments. Bookings made within 60 days of arrival to be paid in full.
CANCELLATIONS
50% of the deposit will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled within 60 days of date of arrival. 100% of the deposit will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled within 30 days of date of arrival.
GENERAL
Short term lets – linen change and cleaning every 5/6 days. Long term lets – reliable domestic help can be arranged fo guests own account.

Attractions

The beach is a mere 3km from our house and it is picturesque, offers safe bathing and has a very good seafood restaurant. The sought after surf spots, Muizenberg, Kalk Bay, Scarborough and Kommetje are in close proximity.

For the more energetic, we are surrounded by the Table Mountain National Park, with its many delightful walks, trails, picnic and barbecue spots. Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay offer wonderful shopping, as well as art galleries, craft markets, fashion and food.

The train station is 3 km away and runs a regular service to Cape Town and Simons Town. We can also recommend a well priced car hire service. As a registered tour guide, we would love to show you our beautiful Cape Peninsula and offer you complimentary airport transfer.

How to get there


From the N2 highway take the Muizenberg off-ramp and continue on this freeway, following the signs for Muizenberg until you reach a road sign for Ou Kaapse Weg.

This will be at a T-junction at the end of the freeway. Take the right lane and turn right at the traffic light. Follow this road across one set of traffic lights and take the next road left at the bottom of Ou Kaapse Weg. Follow this mountain pass to a set of traffic lights at the bottom of Ou Kaapse Weg.

Cross these traffic lights until you get to the next set and turn left into Kommetjie Road. Follow Kommetje Road, across another set of traffic light at a T junction where you turn right. Keep in the left lane until you get to a demarkated left turn lane at Riverside Road. Turn left here and take the next road left into The Glen.

No. 32 is just past the bend in the road on the right-hand side.
