Inkwazi Beach Camp - Sodwana Bay, KwaZulu Natal

Camping / Safari, Cottage / Chalet, Resorts Accommodation

Description
Marius & Mariette Liefbroer decided to replace the smog and smoke of Centurion for the sea and serenity of Sodwana Bay in April of 2009.

Map Directions from JHB or PTA
Witbank > Middelburg > Hendrina > Ermelo >Piet Retief > Pongola > Hluhluwe > Mbazwana >Sodwana Bay

FROM DURBAN
Should take between 3 and 4 hours.Take the N2 North toll road from Durban. (Follow signs to the North Coast). Take the N2 to the Hluhluwe off ramp. Into Hluhluwe, past ENGEN & WIMPY on left.

JOZINI DIRT ROAD ROUTE
After Pongola you may wish to take the dirt road route through Jozini. This route is shorter in distance but saves no time and is very hard on your vehicle. In wet conditions reduce speed to 40kph to 60kph. Although the stretch you may be currently on is dry, you may suddenly hit a wet patch without warning.

Also be careful of pedestrians, cows and goats. While the pedestrians will generally move out of the way, the cows and goats will not. Please be aware of the dust and stones you are leaving behind you and try to pass cars, people and animals, accordingly. Travelling at night is not
advisable.
